How we choose equipment

What you get

  • OPW/Belanger: tunnel systems. Full tunnel packages, soft cloth and foam wraps, dryers, contour arms, side blasters, replacement components.
  • Trident: chemistry. Polymer-forward formulations with tight dilution control. Cost per car typically $0.65 to $0.95 blended.
  • ICS: point of sale and controls. Membership management depth, mature API, reliable point-of-sale and controls hardware, operational reporting.
  • Eurovac: vacuum systems.

We earn distribution margin on OPW/Belanger, Trident, ICS, and Eurovac. We chose OPW/Belanger, Trident and ICS based on 18 years of operating with them across multiple portfolios, not because we sell them. If your situation calls for a different brand, we'll tell you. Our long-term value to you depends on you trusting our spec recommendations more than our distribution margin.

  2. New site equipment spec

    Built into our development engagements or available as a stand-alone project. We spec the package, manage procurement, and coordinate install with the GC.

  3. Replacement parts and consumables

    Quoted and shipped from regional stock for OPW/Belanger, Trident and ICS. Send the part number or a photo of the component and we quote the same business day.

  4. Service network coordination

    We're not a service company, but we maintain relationships with regional service techs across our distributed brands. We can connect you with someone within 24 hours in most Southeast markets.

Will you spec a competing brand if it's a better fit?

Yes. If your market has stronger Sonny's service coverage than OPW/Belanger service coverage, that's a legitimate reason to spec Sonny's. Service network beats brand preference.

Do you handle install and commissioning?

We coordinate it. Installation is performed by a professional car wash installation team, with electricians and plumbers making the electrical and plumbing connections; commissioning includes calibration and crew training. We project-manage from purchase order to wash quality sign-off.

What's the lead time on a full tunnel package?

12 to 18 weeks from PO to delivery for OPW/Belanger in standard configurations (estimate, confirm with the manufacturer). Custom configurations and high-demand periods can extend lead time. We tell you the real number, not the best-case number. Installation and commissioning then take 4 to 8 weeks once the equipment is delivered and the building and utilities are ready (actual, typical of our team's projects).
